Applications are the modern lifeblood of the enterprise, and the desire to keep up with market demands has elevated most enterprise IT strategies from purely on-premises to hybrid and multi-cloud. But the desire to be even more agile and productive—and connect with end users in new and exciting ways—is pushing investments even further into new application environments, development processes, and management tools all leveraging cloud-native technology. In this executive brief, we home in on one component of the cloud-native movement, Kubernetes, and break down its role in achieving enterprise agility, experimentation, and innovation for competitive gain.
"Global professional services firm, Arup, moved from Cisco Cloud Web Security (CWS) to Cisco Umbrella. By implementing a secure internet gateway in conjunction with next-gen endpoint security, Arup secured access to the internet wherever users go, reduced its exposure to malware and improved the ability to detect, respond and remediate when necessary.
-Substantially reduced administrative time
-Accelerated response and remediation process
-Increased performance of cloud applications
-Reduced time to investigate"
"Cloud applications provide scale and cost benefits over legacy on-premises solutions. With more users going direct-to-internet from any device, the risk increases when users bypass security controls. We can help you reduce this risk across all of your cloud and on-premises applications with a zero-trust strategy that validates devices and domains, not just user credentials.
See why thousands of customers rely on Duo and Cisco Umbrella to reduce the risks of data breaches and improve security. Don’t miss this best-practices discussion focused on the key role DNS and access control play in your zero-trust security strategy.
Attendees will learn how to:
? Reduce the risk of phishing attacks and compromised credentials
? Improve speed-to-security across all your cloud applications
? Extend security on and off-network without sacrificing usability"

In the past, desktops, business apps, and critical infrastructure were all located behind the firewall. Today, more and more is happening off-network. More roaming users. More corporate-owned laptops accessing the internet from other networks. More cloud apps, letting users get work done off the corporate network. And more branch offices connecting directly to the internet.
Microsoft® Office 365™ continues to lengthen its lead as the world’s top enterprise cloud service. Nearly one-in-four employees in Fortune 500 companies are active on Office 365 — and more than 90% of those large enterprises currently have more than 100 active users. Users are clearly becoming more reliant on Office 365, as usage grew at a rate of more than 300% in 2016.
The most significant IT transformation of this century is the rapid adoption of cloud-based applications. Most organizations are now dependent on a number of SaaS and IaaS platforms to deliver customer satisfaction and empower employee productivity. IT teams are responsible for delivering a high quality user experience for cloud applications while they struggle to manage a secure environment with advanced persistent threats. The WAN is the fabric to connect and control access between remote users and cloud-based applications. The WAN fabric needs to identify application type, location, apply prioritization and route traffic across the appropriate (multiple) WAN links to deliver on user experience. Different types of users/devices connecting to the cloud (via the Internet) means security policies must be enforced at branch, data center and in the cloud.

Your employees, customers, and partners need the ability to connect and collaborate, at any time, from any location—across time zones or simply across the conference table.
And those workplaces are expanding faster than ever, powered by mobile and cloud usage that makes virtual meetings essential. With scalable and secure voice, video, and content sharing, real-time collaboration can happen anywhere. Staying connected can lead to improved productivity and faster decision-making, as well as better customer service. But only if the technology offers a seamless experience and is intuitive enough to drive user adoption. While the need for better meetings is universal, not all conferencing tools are the same.
Choosing the wrong tool could actually decrease productivity by wasting valuable meeting time troubleshooting the technology, or by providing a negative experience that will deter users from embracing it. This is especially true in situations where poor meeting quality could impact

How do you maintain the security and confidentiality of your organization’s data in a world in which your employees, contractors and partners are now working, file sharing and collaborating on a growing number of mobile devices? Makes you long for the day when data could be kept behind firewalls and employees were, more or less, working on standardized equipment. Now, people literally work on the edge, using various devices and sending often unprotected data to the cloud.
This dramatic shift to this diversified way of working has made secure backup, recovery and sharing of data an exponentially more difficult problem to solve. The best approach is to start with a complete solution that can intelligently protect, manage and access data and information across users, heterogeneous devices and infrastructure from a single console - one that can efficiently manage your data for today's mobile environment and that applies rigorous security standards to this function.

The personal cloud is the most persistent data loss threat to the enterprise today because many employees use their own cloud services to store work documents. Traditionally, content security solutions functionally link security and storage which requires the migration of work documents to a new content storage repository in order to enforce security policies. This increases complexity by creating more repositories for the enterprise to manage. Most importantly, this approach does not solve the personal cloud problem because individual users continue to store their work documents, for convenience, in cloud services that IT cannot secure.

Moving major, business-supporting applications to the cloud can be a challenge for a variety of reasons. You may have concerns about the physical migration of data, as data loss or business disruption stemming from a migration issue would be a disaster for the business. Security is another typical concern, as a data breach of your most sensitive applications—like SAP or Oracle— could prove highly damaging. Akin to security, data sovereignty is an issue for many businesses. Stringent compliance laws in some jurisdictions are dictating data “residency”; and in the cloud, it is not always clear where the data is housed.
Among managed cloud service users, 68% state that using such services helps them to better manage resource allocation and make SAP and Oracle costs more predictable.
In this paper, we will look at common concerns over deploying and optimally managing business-critical, legacy applications in the cloud. We consider the benefits of managed cloud services, and how your
