How do you maintain the security and confidentiality of your organization’s data in a world in which your employees, contractors and partners are now working, file sharing and collaborating on a growing number of mobile devices? Makes you long for the day when data could be kept behind firewalls and employees were, more or less, working on standardized equipment. Now, people literally work on the edge, using various devices and sending often unprotected data to the cloud.
This dramatic shift to this diversified way of working has made secure backup, recovery and sharing of data an exponentially more difficult problem to solve. The best approach is to start with a complete solution that can intelligently protect, manage and access data and information across users, heterogeneous devices and infrastructure from a single console - one that can efficiently manage your data for today's mobile environment and that applies rigorous security standards to this function.

greater success, more revenue and happier customers.
It’s in IT’s hands at the moment, but the window of opportunity is closing as lines of business get tech-savvy, spending more of their budgets on IT projects and re-examining the role that IT plays in

Communications service providers are looking for alternative deployment models that will help them support fast-growing network demand. Moving to a virtualized EPC (vEPC) solution can help service providers achieve more cost-e?ective scaling by using standard high-volume servers in place of purpose-built systems. System integrators, software vendors, and platform providers rely on Intel® technologies to deliver the performance and scalability required for vEPC solutions. Intel is also participating in the development of open standards, contributing to the open source community, developing reference architectures, engaging with industry participants, and collaborating on trials that can help facilitate the evolution to vEPC solutions and accelerate network transformation by use of network functions virtualization.

This increase in traffic is driving many operators to evaluate network backbone upgrades to 100G. Upgrading is necessary but costly. But what if operators could upgrade their R&E networks to 100G for 50 percent less CAPEX investment and extend the life of the existing routers, while actually simplifying the architecture to enable lower operational costs? Rapid shifts in the ways that technology and information are consumed and delivered— through cloud computing, big data, social networking, and smart devices—are transforming how companies compete. IT is at the center of the fray, working with business leaders to develop and execute a digital transformation strategy that capitalizes on these major new technologies. In order to lead this transformation, IT executives must focus on three areas: collaborating with business leaders to build a strategic vision, modernizing technology infrastructure, and rebuilding IT organizations to execute against new digital business goals.
Technology is changing the way businesses operate. More and more employees are working and collaborating from different locations—across time zones and countries, or even just across town. Technological advances are making it easier to expand a company’s community while allowing employees to work virtually, from local offices, flex spaces, or their homes.
