The Adwind Remote Administration Tool is a backdoor Trojan written in Java language that targets various platforms that support Java files. Adwind does not exploit any vulnerabilities. In most cases, for an infection to succeed, the user must run the malware by double-clicking the .jar file that is usually distributed as an attachment, or opening an infected Microsoft Word document. The infection spreads if the Java Runtime Environment is installed on the user's computer. After the malicious .jar file is executed on the target system, the malware installs silently and connects to a remote server via a preconfigured port to receive commands from a remote attacker and perform other illegal operations.

Robot programmers frequently find it challenging to deliver material handling, arc welding, spot welding, or drill and riveting programs that work with certainty on the first run. Because robot programming is not part of the design phase, they are forced to implement fixes and workarounds on the shop floor. Costs escalate as production cycles expand and changes are made without knowledge of the shop floor impacts.
DELMIA Robotics on the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform delivers high quality, collision-free programs in the native robot language with no need for intervention on the shop floor. In the virtual world, programmers and designers work in concert to create the most productive tooling operations and robot cycle times. Programming can move ahead independently without interrupting production, and robot programs perform predictably the first time. Costs of programming and production are significantly reduced, and products move to market more quickly.

Advances in deep neural networks have ignited a new wave of algorithms and tools for data scientists to tap into their data with artificial intelligence (AI). With improved algorithms, larger data sets, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, data scientists are tackling new use cases like autonomous driving vehicles and natural language processing.
As organizations develop next-generation applications for the digital era, many are using cognitive computing ushered in by IBM Watson® technology. Cognitive applications can learn and react to customer preferences, and then use that information to support capabilities such as confidence-weighted outcomes with data transparency, systematic learning and natural language processing.

Commerce today involves an increasingly complicated supply chain ecosystem. Companies rely on suppliers and buyers across the globe, most of whom they’ve never met. They use multiple carriers and modes of transportation, across international borders, with different languages, currencies and laws. This ever-changing landscape means that companies of all sizes must be more diligent than ever when it comes to managing their supply
chain — and their risk.
In addition, e-commerce has revolutionized purchase behaviors, creating loftier customer expectations, and putting increased pressure on sellers to find new ways to meet those needs. Global networks and tight time constraints can amplify the impact from unpredictable events, like theft, damage, weather and natural disasters. This puts even more pressure on a company’s supply chain, and its bottom line.

In a global and highly regulated marketplace, pharmaceutical and biotech firms face a challenge in managing regulatory labeling submissions that meet multiple country and regional requirements in many different languages. This process has historically required substantial manual intervention and review by highly paid professionals, contributing to unnecessary costs and delays in medicinal product launches. Biopharma executives hope that new, cloud-based tools will help solve this costly dilemma.
To market their products globally, biopharmaceutical firms must ensure their product information complies with local regulatory filing requirements. Submissions often need to be revised to reflect in-country linguistic, formatting, and timing mandates. In-country compliance is usually overseen by local affiliates that manage the process internally. Tasks such as translation and formatting are typically outsourced to in-country providers.
